Region 2
Mark Zachewicz is a lifelong resident of Chippewa, and has been involved at many levels with the Blackhawk School District, as a student, athlete and parent of students and athletes. He and his wife Maggie, who is a physician assistant in New Wilmington, have lived in the district for 20 years and have 3 daughters who are students at Blackhawk.

After graduating from Penn State University, with a BS degree in Business Management, Mark has spent many years working in both the Mental Health and Intellectual Disability fields. In July 2013, he founded, and became CEO of Cornerstone Recovery and Supports (CRS). All of its programs are guided by the principles of recovery supporting people with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

Mark’s business acumen and network within the community, combined with having three children at different levels of schooling, makes him an ideal candidate for the Blackhawk School Board.
