Thomas Wire has been a proud member of the Blackhawk community for the past three years, drawn here for professional opportunities and inspired by the district’s welcoming spirit. A graduate of Youngstown state university with his law enforcement certification, Tom also studied business at Kent state university. As an entrepreneur, business owner, and Director of a charitable foundation, he is dedicated to helping those in need and giving back to the community he now calls home.
Though his son is not yet old enough to attend Blackhawk, Tom has a vested interest in the district’s future. He has spent time volunteering with local initiatives and remains active in his family’s church. Tom also enjoys writing—currently working on his first novel—weightlifting, and creating content for his YouTube channel. His professional focus on budgeting and fresh perspective in the district give him a unique ability to identify areas for growth and positive change.
Eager to serve the Blackhawk School Board, Tom believes academic achievement should be a top priority, alongside ensuring teachers and staff have the resources they need. He envisions increased safety measures, such as additional resource officers and more regular emergency training. Guided by integrity and open communication, Tom is committed to listening to every voice within the district. With a heart for service and a desire to build stronger schools, he looks forward to helping Blackhawk students thrive well into the future.
