Chad McMillen is currently a proud citizen of Chippewa township and has been for his entire life. As a graduate of Blackhawk’s class of 2007, he met his wife Coral in high school and they raise a daughter and son together, both attending Blackhawk Intermediate School. Chad is active in coaching teams for Blackhawk Area Soccer Association with his daughter and has also coached for his son’s tee ball team.
Upon graduation, Chad enlisted into the United States Air National Guard in 2008 serving the 171st Air Refueling Wing in Moon Township. He has been deployed to the Middle East, Guam, Japan and several other locations since. He started out as a crew chief and later moved into maintenance operations. He still serves to this day. He is also working full time with the Army Corps of Engineers at the Montgomery dam in Industry. His work ethic is exceeded by few.
Chad’s goal with the Blackhawk School board is to give his children and other students the same amazing experiences that he and his wife enjoyed throughout their careers here. He is extremely dedicated not only as a father but as a member of the community as well and looks forward to helping Blackhawk continue to be the pillar education and excellence that it is known for.
